I enjoyed the hotel overall. Came to Napier to relax and have fun, this smoking venue was a great base for doing it. - Booked a room with astonishing views over the sea. - the bed was comfortable and I had an open bathroom.

The setting was quite marvellous and lovely within easy reach of National Aquarium of New Zealand. There were all major stores and a supermarket around the hotel🙂

No complaints whatsoever, I liked this place, totally recommend. Had very good stay for 3 nights during 2018 Christmas holidays with attentive staff and absolutely perfect location opposite the sea. Got a hot breakfast included. Location: the hotel was just next door to beach and aquarium and Napier.

I always love staying at the nautlius.
Had problems with the shower flooding, also the breakfast had no croissants or Danishes like the other times so the continental breakfast wasn't much.

The property staff were polite and provided good service. the hotel's location is beautiful, overlooking the port until late in the evening. It was convenient to visit the Norfolk Lounge Restaurant, which is located close to the property.

The restaurant was wonderful for dinner. I tried appetising dishes. - It was brand-new and had an absolutely stunning view of the ocean. - the room was a nice size. - the location was handy and central. - Stopped by Six Sisters Coffee House to get some coffee and treats, it's just a few steps away from the venue.

Excellent special room rate. Room great with an excellent size spa and shower. Location - sea view rooms - brilliant. Restaurant - had breakfast only - brilliant breakfast choices. Room furnishing - great.
Squeaky bed. Even though we did not stay in a ground floor road front room I would imagine that proximity to road traffic , and the fact that predestrians can see inside your unit is a bit disconcerting and the lack or privacy is to be taken into consideration. I would therefore always recomment a 1st or 2nd floor beach front unit.

We had a great room with a balcony and a view of the beach. It was located close to the city centre and a few steps from an excellent Indonesian resteraunt. The room was spacious and cleverly divided into bedroom and lounge with shutters that opened between the two spaces. There was a massive spa bath in the bedroom. It was spotlessly clean. A great getaway place
